MTV: La réalisatrice de ‘Runaways’ pour ‘Breaking Dawn’?

Puisque Floria Sigismondi a travaillé avec deux stars de “Twilight” Dakota Fanning et Kristen Stewart, elle ne mets pas de côté l'idée de réaliser “Breaking Dawn.”Alors que trois grands noms sont déjà sur la liste — Sofia Coppola, Gus Van Sant et Bill Condon — Sigismondi dit que ce serait marrant d'essayer .

“En fait , je suis juste en train de le lire —c'est un peu plus sombre , donc je pense que ce serait intéressant ,” a t elle dit à MTV News. “C'est vraiment intéressant , un peut plus crispé aussi. Mais comme je l'ai dit , je viens juste d'en commencer la lecture donc je ne sais pas où ça va aller , mais je pense que ça laisse plus place à l'imagination et que c'est bien différent.”

Sigismondi, qui a déjà réalisé les clips d'artiste comme Interpol et Christina Aguilera, aime ce qu'elle a lu jusqu'ici . “Ce serait intéressant de faire quelque chose de légèrement différent , mais en gardant l'histoire et les personnages ,” dit elle . “Mais on dirait qu'on entre dans un nouveau monde . Bella subit des choses totalement différente dans ce livre.”

Sigismondi a envie de faire quelque chose de différent après son film rock 'n roll , et il semblerait que“Breaking Dawn” pourrait parfaitement convenir . “Je pense que je vais faire une fiction,” a t elle expliqué “Un plus plus fantastique.”

Alors qu'elle pourrait être un choix intéressant, Kristen Stewart, Dakota Fanning et même Robert Pattinson ont tous parlé de Gus Van Sant. “IL rend les films éblouissant . J'adore son travail ,” a confié Stewart . “Ils sont si profonds . Je pense qu'on retrouve toujours ça dans ses films . Je pense que tous les réalisateurs ont déjà apporté ça , mais c'est de me réalisateurs préférés et j'adorerais travailler avec lui.”

The Reader’ director Stephen Daldry being considered to direct ‘Breaking Dawn’

The Los Angeles Times is reporting today that Stephen Daldry – the director of ‘The Reader’ – is being considered by Summit to direct Breaking Dawn:

Having already gone indie with Catherine Hardwicke, polished/commercial with Chris Weitz and genre auteur with David Slade for the franchise’s first three movies, Summit clearly wants a high-end Oscar- prestige filmmaker to handle the fourth picture.

Still, even by those standards, Daldry stands out. He’s been nominated for three Oscars, more than any of the other directors on the short list. In fact, Daldry is the rare filmmaker who’s been nominated for a best directing Oscar for every feature he’s made.

Those credentials make taking on a global teen phenomenon seem unlikely, though there are reasons to think it could work. The director is well-versed in depicting forbidden love (a “Twilight” staple) with “The Reader” and “The Hours.” And he’s adept at themes of family alienation, also a franchise fixture, which ran under “Billy Elliot.” Also, like most of the others, Daldry doesn’t yet have a new film.

M. Night Shyamalan Enters Speculation of “Breaking Dawn” Director

Summit Entertainment is clearly gearing up to get moving on “Breaking Dawn,” the final entry in the “Twilight” (which still may or may not be released in two parts). There was a lot of talk over the last week or two about potential directors, with the names Gus Van Sant, Sofia Coppola, Bill Condon and Stephen Daldry all coming up as short-list possibilities. I put those options to a vote last week: Coppola got 40%, Van Sant got 27%, Condon got 18% and Daldry got 15%. So no clear majority.Well I’m here today to make things even more confusing. This isn’t an official possibility on the table for Summit — as far as we know — but a noteworthy filmmaker professed his love for Stephenie Meyer’s vampire series in a chat on the Kid’s Choice Awards red carpet over the weekend: M. Night Shyamalan.

“I would’ve loved to be– I love the series, and Catherine [Hardwicke's] movie, it was one of my favorite movies of that year,” he said. “Really, I thought tonally, it was a perfect movie. I called her up after I saw ‘Twilight’ and was like ‘That was amazing.’ So I’m a big fan.”

Shyamalan just recently worked with “Twilight” star Jackson Rathbone on “The Last Airbender,” a live-action adaptation of the popular Japanese anime series “Avatar: The Last Airbender.” That movie hits theaters this summer, on July 2. Shyamalan is known for frequently screwing with viewers’ heads in hits like “The Sixth Sense” and “Unbreakable”; “Airbender” is a first for him, a big-budget, studio adaptation.

My own opinions of him as a filmmaker are mixed, but I’ve never claimed to be a “Twilight” expert. So I want to hear from you. Do you think Shyamalan is a good person for Summit to consider in weighing possible “Breaking Dawn” directors? Do you agree with his assessment of “Twilight” as “tonally” perfect? Would you pick him over the other directors whom we know are in the running?

Wow, with so many directors being thrown into possibly working on “Breaking Dawn” I wonder who will end up directing Rob & the rest of the cast

Moi je sais pas si j'en veux de Shyamalan
Bien que j'aime bien la façon dont il tourne et son sens des images ses films n'ont pas tous la même qualité,je le trouve pas très constant
En fait je n'ai aimé que 2 de ses films,"Le sixième sens" et "signes" le reste euh un gros bof..."La fille de l'eau" et surtout "Phénomène" j'ai pas du tout accroché
Reste encore à voir son dernier film"Le dernier maître de l'eau" avec Jackson Rathbone,peut être ce sera mieux...
Ouh la la ils font que changer d'avis sur qui fera BD...ils vont se decider ou quoi
