ReelzChannel – Twilight Fans Petition for an R-Rated Breaking Dawn (Rob Mention)

A group of angry Twilighters — ardent fans of Stephenie Meyer’s Twilight Saga — have created a petition imploring production company Summit Entertainment to raise the rating of the fourth movie, Breaking Dawn, from a PG-13 to an R.

The petition, one sure to set Summit quaking in its boots, states:

It is understood that not only is Breaking Dawn rated R in the book, the director should produce a film that mirrors it’s book in original form that is greatly loved by females (and some males) all over the world. Losing major details of the movie will definitely hurt the release of Breaking Dawn and disappoint fans everywhere.

We’re all for fans speaking out and demanding what they want, but in this case, it’s pretty pointless, thanks to Meyer’s previous stipulation that all Twilight movies be rated PG-13. It’s no lie that Breaking Dawn contains more mature themes and scenes than its predecessors, but we don’t think even Summit would be stupid enough to go against the vampire queen herself, just for the sake of some extra blood and a glimpse of Robert Pattinson mid-skinny-dip.

More to the point, how many parents can you see accompanying their daughters on 10 different theater trips to see Edward, Jacob, and Bella battle it out over a drained animal carcass and a Quileute campfire? If you find one, we’ll be very surprised.

C'est clair, ils tiennent beaucoup trop à leur PG-13 (et surtout le public que ca apporte!), mais bon l'espoir fait vivre comme on dit lol

GossipCop: Newest “Breaking Dawn” Rumors Are Same Old Story

For months, speculation has swirled about the film adaptation of The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn.

Rumors repeatedly (and wrongly) announced the start of production. Each time, questions about the claims’ legitimacy flooded Gossip Cop, and each time we reported that talk of a green light was premature.

New buzz this weekend observed that IMDb Pro had changed the project’s status to “In Production.” But while it’s true the site uses the term to describe Breaking Dawn, it is not true that a potential production is any more clearly outlined than in previous weeks.

A rep for Summit Entertainment labels the adaptation “in development,” and tells Gossip Cop there is still no start date, no director, no production schedule, and no decision about whether Breaking Dawn will be one or two films.

Many outlets used the IMDb status to declare that the project will definitely begin in November 2010. This is all entirely possible. But it has not been decided for certain, and the rep called the buzz “speculative.”

Gossip Cop will report that production on Breaking Dawn is definite as soon as production decisions have actually been made.

But it’s not yet that moment. Stay tuned…

dites donc, dites donc, ok c'est du Public (je vais tenter de scanner l'affaire), donc c'est à prendre avec beaucoup de prudence mais il y'aurait un scène qui se tournerait en BELGIQUE!
