Nouvelle cérémonie américaine au mois de septembre avec Les MTV Vidéo Music Awards 2009 qui récompensent les meilleurs vidéo-clips de l'année.

Créés à l'origine pour compléter les Grammy Awards, qui ne récompensaient pas les vidéo-clips, les MTV Vidéo Music Awards 2009 réunissent toutes les célébrités du monde de la musique, du cinéma, de la mode et de la télévision. Depuis 2006, les prix des MTV Vidéo Music Awards (VMA's) sont décernés grâce au vote du public.
La 26 eme cérémonie des MTV Vidéo Music Awards aura lieu le dimanche 13 septembre à 21h, au Radio City Music Hall à New York, (nuit du lundi 14 pour nous vers 3h du matin) et sera présentée pour la seconde fois par le comédien Humoriste Russell Brand.

Cette année, Lady GaGa et Beyoncé sont largement en tête des nominations avec chacune, 9 nominations dont vidéo de l'année et Meilleur clip d’une artiste féminine. Britney Spears n'est pas loin derrière avec vidéo de l'année pour 
Womanizer.

Le site vous permettra une fois encore de suivre normalement cette cérémonie en direct vidéo sur l'infonet de la realtv, comme d'habitude, car pour la voir en France il faudra patienter 4 jours puisque MTV France ne la diffusera que le 17 septembre 2009 à 20h50.

Niveau shows pour la cérémonie : Beyoncé se produira pour interpréter Sweet Dreams, extrait de son album I'M... mais également Jay-Z, Taylor Swift, Lady Gaga, Jay-Z, Green Day, Pink, et Muse, feront aussi des prestations pendant le spectacle.
Parmi les présentateurs l’on comptera Katy Perry, Chace Crawford, Nelly Furtado, Leighton Meester et Ne-Yo.

La soeur du chanteur Mickael Jackson, Janet Jackson rendra hommage à son frere. Cette dernière donnera le coup d'envoi de la cérémonie en musique, et interprétera donc vraisemblablement un ou plusieurs titres du répertoire de son frère. (Voir dernier clip en bas de page)

Pour mémoire, auront lieu le 13 septembre prochain à 21h (heure côte est US soit, 3 heures du matin le 14.09, heure française) les MTV Videos Music Awards 2009.

A cette occasion seront présentés un nouveau trailer de New Moon ainsi que le titre phare de la B.O. du film "Meet Me on the Equinox" par le groupe Death Cab for Cutie.

Les acteurs du film – parmi lesquels Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, Taylor Lautner, Ashley Greene (envoyée spéciale de MTV pour l'occasion) – seront présents.

A l'heure actuelle, nous ne savons pas si il y aura une possibilité de suivre cette soirée en direct et en streaming sur internet (nous ne manquerons pas de vous tenir informer si il s'avère que cela est possible).

Cependant, la cérémonie sera diffusée, en différé, sur les chaines françaises du groupe MTV :

Russell Brand Preparing His Jokes About 'Twilight'

As MTV reporter Jim Cantiello says in the video below, "sharpen your fangs, Twilighters." As you all should know -- as you all had better know! -- this Sunday is the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards. "Forgetting Sarah Marshall" star and all around funny dude Russell Brand is the host. Another big component to Sunday night's broadcast, as I'm sure you know, is that MTV will be premiering new trailers for the Michael Jackson documentary "This Is It" and the "Twilight" follow-up, "New Moon."

Yeah, we've been talking about it all week. But Brand + "New Moon" = jokes. At least, that's the plan. In the below video from Brand's VMA rehearsal, you can see how the comedian plans to rib on Stephenie Meyer's vampire series come Sunday night.

Twilight-Fail for MTV Awards Host Russell Brand

Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, and Taylor Lautner may be appearing at the MTV Video Music Awards on Sunday, but that doesn’t mean show host Russell Brand knows a thing about Twilight.

What?

When I caught up with Brand earlier today during VMA rehearsals at Radio City Music Hall, he made no apologies for not being able to tell me if he was Team Edward or Team Jacob..

“I don’t know what those words mean,” the British bad boy explained. “I am afraid I am not the demographic. I wish them both well, but I don’t think I am their type of audience.”That doesn’t mean Twilight won’t get plenty of attention. “You just look at the landscape and see what’s prevalent,” Brand said. “It’s pretty obvious what things are going to work and what things people are interested in.”

Does that mean he’s gunning for the Jonas Brothers again? Brand came under some serious criticism last year when he mocked the JoBros for their purity rings.

“If you’d have asked me last year, ‘Is the script controversial?’ I would’ve said no,” Brand said. “So perhaps I am not the best barometer of what constitutes as controversial.”

Meanwhile, the seating plan was coming along nicely this afternoon. Except there was no marker for Pattinson. I’m told producers haven’t been told yet whether he will be sitting in the audience during the show.

Lautner and Stewart are definitely there. They’re a seat apart from each other in the fifth row, as is Ashley Greene.

As our pals over at The Awful Truth stress, Robsten PDA at the VMAs is unlikely. However, we do suspect Pattinson will be slipping into one of those empty seats next to Stewart.

“Je ne sais même pas ce que ça veut dire ,” a expliqué le mauvais garçon . “J'ai peur de ne pas savoir . Je leur souhaite à tous deux le meilleur, mais je ne pense pas être leur type de spectateur .”Ce qui ne signifie pas que Twilight n'aura pas toute l'attention. “Vous regardez le paysage et vous voyez ce qu'il faut ,” a dit Brand . “C'est évident ce que les gens veulent voir .”

Est ce que ça veut dire qu'il va encore flinguer les Jonas Brothers? Brand a été critiqué l'an dernier quand il s'est moqué des JoBros et leur bagues de virginité.

“Si vous m'aviez demandé l'an dernier , ‘Est ce que le script porte à controverse ?’ j'aurais dit non ,” dit Brand “Donc je ne sais pas ce qui put porter à controverse.”

Pendant ce temps là le plan continuait son chemin. Sauf qu'il n'ay avait plus Pattinson. On m'a dit qu'on avait dit aux producteurs qu'on ne savait pas s'il serait assis dans le public pendant le show.

Lautner et Stewart sont bien là . Il y a un siège entre eux et ils sont au 5ème rang , tout comme Ashley Greene.

Comme le craignait nos amis de The Awful Truth , il n'y aura pas de Robsten au VMA. Cependant , nous suspectons que Pattinson se glissera dans un de ces sièges libres à côté de Stewart.

See, no one in the Twilight gang is up for an award. They are simply there to do a little promo and to introduce the new trailer, which we told you about first, with much more Rob.
Since Rob gets accosted, like, everywhere he goes, some peeps are hesitant about where to seat him. Trust us, we've seen this firsthand: It's a damn frenzy during commercial breaks, with fans running up to him for pictures. Rob being the nice guy he is will always oblige, but he can only keep his cool so long!

So whether R.Pattz will be next to K.Stew will be a mystery until shortly before showtime. But he's got a seat there if he wants it. It's Robert Pattinson after all!

One of our predictions? Sorry, but let's get practical: There's a good chance R.Pattz could skip the carpet, arrive late only to announce new clip and bounce. But those 10 seconds of him onstage will be worth watching, right? If you answered in the affirmative, you're reading the wrong blolumn.

New Moon' Trailer: Check Out A Sneak Peek Before The VMAs!

'Twilight' fans can see entire trailer on Sunday night, but here's a taste.



It's been almost two weeks since we told you MTV will exclusively premiere an expanded "New Moon" trailer at the 2009 Video Music Awards on Sunday at 9 p.m. ET.

You've waited long enough, right? Don't you deserve a little advance taste of Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner as they return for the second installment of the "Twilight" franchise? Of course! So behold MTV's "New Moon" teaser video, filled with looks at Bella Swan, Edward Cullen and Jacob Black, with insight into many of the film's essential plot points and peeks at the ruthless Volturi coven. (Beware of spoilers below!)

When it comes to Bella, the teaser video shows the high school student bereft after Edward leaves for Italy, which leads her to attempt an adrenaline-seeking series of stunts. The trailer shows Bella submerged underwater as a vision of Edward floats upside down next to her and Jacob's arm reaches out to pull her to safety. We also see Bella speeding down a road on a motorcycle as a vision of Edward flutters in the background. No doubt, she is continually haunted by his presence throughout the film. But eventually, Bella shows up in Italy, and we see them together again, albeit uneasily.

We also get the Volturi, those vampires residing in the ancient Italian city of Volterra who have become a kind of royal governing authority in the vampire world, delivering swift, violent justice to anyone who threatens their way of life. There's red-pupiled Jane (Dakota Fanning), a powerful young member of the clan whose special ability is to inflict incapacitating pain with her thoughts — a skill she developed after being burned at the stake as a child. The teaser also delivers a shot of the Volturi leaders: Aro (Michael Sheen), the founder of the coven and its de facto leader; super-creepy Marcus (Christopher Heyerdahl), who wanders through life in a zombie-like haze; and Caius (Jamie Campbell Bower), a viciously cruel vampire with murderous inclinations.

And don't forget about the two male heroes of "New Moon." We see the werewolf Jacob consoling Bella after Edward has skipped town, as well as a rad shot of the beast bearing its fangs as several more of its kind sniff around in the woods. Meanwhile, off in Italy, we see Edward taking off his shirt in broad daylight. For a vampire, that cannot be a good thing! He also gets into a fight with one of the Volturi, who grabs him by the neck.
